In 2025, LGBTQ+ and Friends and SLA Video Productions, in cooperation with Chautauqua Cinema, presented a screening of "From Pain to Purpose: An Original Doc. about a Trans Woman's Journey of Faith & Acceptance", affectionately known as “Mary’s Story”.

We are considering showing the documentary again in 2026. Nothing has been confirmed. Stay tuned.

For the past two years, LGBTQ+ and Friends has hosted this event for the Chautauqua Theater Company. We pick a play to attend and then gather after the show to meet the cast and crew and share food and drink.

Since this event is always a big hit, we will try to do it again in 2026, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Stay tuned for more details.
